Day by day 7 Days Uganda Gorillas, Monkeys & Chimps Safari Itinerary

Day 1 : Bwindi National Park

After breakfast, pick up from your residence in Kampala. Head straight to Bwindi National park. Lunch enroute – dinner and overnight. You will hit the road to the accommodation in Bwindi National Park. You will reach, check in and thereafter, you will proceed to encounter the local people living close to the Bwindi Forest. Return to the accommodation for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2 : Bwindi National Park Full Experience

After breakfast Morning briefing enter the park with your parked lunch and water – gorilla tracking – return to your lodge for a full warm late lunch – dinner and overnight. The beauty of this rain forest is spectacular! The area offers dramatic steeply forested landscape and is incredibly dense, but crisscrossed by numerous animal trails allowing access to tourists. The time taken and the terrain vary with the movements of these great primates. Once you locate a gorilla group, you will be allowed an hour in their presence. The thrill of spending time observing these gentle and endangered giants is unforgettable. Thereafter, you will return to the lodge fir dinner and overnight.

Day 3 : Transfer to Volcano Forest

After breakfast – transfer to the volcanoes for forest nature walk – lunch dinner and overnight. Volcano climbing safari in Uganda mount Sabinyo hiking, from Kampala the capital city of Uganda to reach Kisoro district where Mt Sabinyo is found is about 540 kilometers and from Entebbe International Airport its about 605 kilometers, mount Sabinyo is located in the Mgahinga Gorilla National Park, Mgahing is well known for its mountain gorilla trekking and also famous for other two extinct volcanic mountains Mount. Gahinga (3,474 meters) and mount. Muhavura (4,127 meters) that can also be hiked along with mount Sabinyo (3,669 meters).

Day 4 – Golden monkeys Tracking

After breakfast – morning Golden monkey trekking lunch dinner and overnight. Be up early, have breakfast and drive off to the Mgahinga Park rangers’ point. From there, you will receive briefing and thereafter, continue into the forest in search of the golden monkeys. Once you have located the golden monkeys, you will be allowed an hour in their presence. You will then return for relaxation at the comfort of the booked accommodation.

Day 5 – Kibale National Park

After breakfast – transfer to Kibale national Park. lunch enroute – reaching later in the evening dinner and overnight. You will have breakfast and thereafter, hit the road to Kibale Forest National Park. You will reach the booked accommodation in time for lunch and some rest. Later, you can choose to undertake either the Crater lakes’ hike or go for Bigodi Swamp walk. On the Crater lakes’ hike, you will enjoy the beauty of the numerous small lakes, surrounded by gentle hills, and the stunning views. Take a hike toLake Nkuruba where you willencounter different species of primates and birds. On the other hand, the Bigodi is a great place if you love sighting primates and birds.

Day 6 – Bigoti Nature Walk & Community Walk

Your will have breakfast and thereafter, hit the road to Kibale Forest National Park. You will reach the booked accommodation in time for lunch and some rest. Later, you can choose to undertake either the Crater lakes’ hike or go for Bigodi Swamp walk. On the Crater lakes’ hike, you will enjoy the beauty of the numerous small lakes, surrounded by gentle hills, and the stunning views.
